Photographic images transformed through water, time, and touch.

Digitally printed images are reimagined through analog Polaroid film, transforming people, places, and objects into something softer, more elusive. Using the emulsion lift process, I separate the delicate image layer from its original surface and gently reposition it—floating it above textured paper, painted grounds, or patterned materials. What emerges is a sense of depth and fluidity, where fragments of memory and narrative appear suspended in space. Each piece becomes a kind of visual poem—layered, ephemeral, and open to interpretation. The process is physical and unpredictable, and that’s part of what draws me to it. The image must be surrendered to water, to time, and to touch—and in that letting go, something new is allowed to surface.
